Publication Ethics
The Journal of Finance, Business and Management Studies adopts the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) guidelines on publication ethics to ensure high-quality publications.
- Authors must abide by the following:
- The only unpublished manuscripts should be submitted.
- The submitted manuscripts must be the original work of the author(s).
- The manuscripts must not have been submitted for publication to any other journal.
- The sources of data used in the development of the manuscripts should be acknowledged.
- All errors discovered in a manuscript after submission must be communicated to the editor immediately.
- The research papers mentioned in “References” must be directly related to the contents of the manuscript.
- Reviewers must confirm that:
- All manuscripts are reviewed in fairness based on the intellectual content of the paper regardless of gender, race-ethnicity, religion, citizenry or political views of the author(s).
- All information pertaining to the manuscripts should be kept confidential.
- Any observed conflicts of interest during the review process must be communicated to the author.
- Any information that may be the reason for the rejection of publication of a manuscript must be communicated to the Editor.
- Editors must confirm the following:
- All manuscripts will be evaluated in fairness based on the intellectual content of the paper irrespective of gender, race, ethnicity, religion, citizenry or political views of the author(s).
- All information concerning the manuscripts will be kept confidential.
- Any observed conflicts of interest concerning manuscripts will be brought into the notice of the Editor-in-Chief as well as the author(s).
- The Editorial Board will be charged with the responsibility of making publication decisions for submitted manuscripts based on the reviewer’s evaluation of the manuscript.
- The Editorial Board will frame the suitable policies concerning the journal; take necessary steps against plagiarism and copyright infringement.
- The editorial board will take necessary steps to detect plagiarism research misconduct and communicate to the author(s) with a rejection of the manuscript.
All the submitted manuscripts for publication are checked for plagiarism after submission and before starting review.
